Last middle of November, 15th to be mathematically precise, our greatest, wow-est meeting was held to determine the future of our LCTU, as well as to have all of us gather on a weekend in our formal attires to give us a good practice on how to behave ourselves during important weekend working events in the future.

 

Punctuality was taken seriously (I was late), as well as everything else during the meeting, as it was to help get to know more about our LCP candidates and their expectations of how they would see LCTU grow in the span in one year, if they were chosen and given the utmost obligation to be the next America’s Next Top Model, or Local Committee President, whichever you prefer.

 

Our candidates, inclusive of an extremely brilliant group of VPs, were pretty cool, sitting on important-looking chairs, discussing important things such as crisis management and tough Q&A sessions, credits to a very highly-important crowd.The meeting included a detailed interview on the candidates, as well as the voting session after.

 

Unfortunately, not every AIESECer was given the right to vote, but don’t worry they trusted the ones who could. The end of the meeting was splashing (pun intended) and two of our LCP candidates passed the votes of confidence, and were through to the next level of X-Factor, or as Local Committee President, whichever you prefer.
